Wisconsin kicker Rafael Gaglianone will honor his friend on Saturday.
Gaglianone told reporters Tuesday evening that he plans to walk out with Nebraska kicker Drew Brown while holding the late Sam Foltz’s No. 27 jersey. Foltz, who was Nebraska’s punter, died in a July car accident, along with former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler.

Gaglianone, who kicked what became the game-winning field goal in the 16-14 season-opening win against LSU, is out for the rest of the season because of back surgery. Gaglianone is eligible for a medical hardship, which would give him two more seasons.
Before the season, Gaglianone changed his jersey to No. 27 to honor Foltz. He’ll continue to honor his friend this weekend.
Scout.com’s Benjamin Worgull reported that Gaglianone is planning to spend Friday night with Nebraska’s players and Sam Foltz’s family at the hotel.
