Wisconsin is 2-0 and inside the AP Top 10. But the Badgers have been dealing with injuries.
Badgers coach Paul Chryst updated the team’s injury situation on Monday, saying running back Corey Clement should be back at practice and good to go Saturday against Georgia State. Clement left this past Saturday’s game early with a minor left leg injury. Through the first two games, Clement has 197 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Not only should Clement not face any playing time limits, but Chryst said Clement is a viable option to return kicks now that Natrell Jamerson is out. Clement is listed at the KR spot on this week’s depth chart:

As for Jamerson, Chryst said the defensive back will be out 4-6 weeks.
In other news, Wisconsin fans will be happy to see T.J. Edwards listed on the depth chart. The sophomore is a backup inside linebacker and is near 100 percent as he battles back from a left foot injury. He had two total tackles, including a sack, against Akron (his first game this season) and will probably get more playing time against Georgia State
Some more injury updates as Wisconsin prepares for Saturday’s game against Georgia State:
- DB Natrell Jamerson (left leg) is OUT. It’s necessary to note he’s not listed as out for the season like linebacker Chris Orr. Lubern Figaro and Casear Williams are the backup cornerbacks with Jamerson out.
- LG Jon Dietzen (right leg) is questionable
