Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook said on Tuesday that he heard he was going to start, but there was no official announcement.
It seems that has changed thanks to Wisconsin’s official Facebook account. In a Wednesday night video, “Badger Breakdown,” Chris Hall begins by saying Hornibrook will start over Bart Houston when the No. 11 Badgers play No. 8 Michigan State at noon (ET) on Saturday.
“What we do know is that there will be a change after we saw what happened last week in the third quarter, coach Chryst asking Alex Hornibrook to go in there, provide that spark. He’s going to start this week,” Hall said in the video.

Bart Houston, a fifth-year senior, started the Badgers’ first three games, which included a win against LSU. Houston led Wisconsin on a pair of field goal drives against Georgia State before Hornibrook drove the Badgers to three scoring drives in the second half in the 23-17 win.
Hornibrook has passed for 183 yards, 2 TDs and an interception this season while Houston has thrown for 527 yards, 2 TDs and 2 interceptions.
