It’s been a rough 24 hours for Florida A&M.
The Rattlers, currently sitting at 2-10, were in Birmingham, Ala., Thursday night for a game against Samford University. They lost 83-63.
But the 20-point loss is just the beginning of the story. Immediately after the loss, Florida A&M headed to Madison, Wis., for a Friday-night tilt with No. 14 Wisconsin. The quick turnaround, coupled with a depleted roster, left the Rattlers road-weary and with only eight players dressed for the game.
Among those missing the game is leading scorer Desmond Williams.
Rattlers are down to eight players tonight. Missing leading scorer, injured last night at Samford.

Not only have the Rattlers been trying to find some sort of positives with their eight dressed players, but they’re also up against one of the best teams in the country in the Badgers, who some have picked to win the Big Ten.
Oh, and Florida A&M has lost nine straight.
It all added up to put the Rattlers on their heels from the get-go on Friday, as the Badgers have taken a 43-22 lead into halftime on Florida A&M.
