Wisconsin senior RB Corey Clement returned to practice Tuesday after injuring his hamstring late last week, according to the team’s official Twitter account.
Clement entered 2015 with a lot of hype before sports hernia surgery limited him to just four games. In 2014, behind Melvin Gordon, Clement rushed for 949 yards on 147 attempts (6.5 per rush), but dropped to 221 yards on 48 attempts (4.6 per) last season.

Clement will be relied upon heavily this season and the Badgers need him at 100 percent — especially since they open the season with LSU, then face Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Iowa and Nebraska in a 5-week stretch that spans all of October.
LSU RB Leonard Fournette sprained his ankle on Tuesday, and his status for the Tigers’ game at Lambeau Field against Wisconsin is unknown.
