Wisconsin picks up commitment from RB Hunter Johnson as preferred walk-on
Wisconsin added Darlington, Wis., running back Hunter Johnson as a preferred walk-on Friday afternoon, according to a report from Wissports.com’s Travis Wilson.

Johnson had a scholarship offer from Western Illinois. He rushed for 2,365 yards and 45 touchdowns during his junior season at Darlington High School.
Johnson is Wisconsin’s third walk-on in its 2017 class, joining quarterback Danny Vanden Boom and offensive tackle Matt Henningsen.
