Despite being one of two undefeated teams left in the Big Ten, Nebraska opens as a 6.5-point underdog for its game against Wisconsin this Saturday, according to Vegas Insiders.

The spread likely has to do with this being the Cornhuskers’ first test of the season against a ranked opponent. Wisconsin is ranked No. 11 in the AP Top 25.
And as Ohio State learned when it traveled to Camp Randall Stadium on Oct. 15, the Badgers can be an even tougher challenge when playing at home. Wisconsin ranks third in the conference in total defense, allowing just 300 yards per game. Meanwhile, Nebraska ranks third in the Big Ten in scoring, averaging 34.1 points per game.
