Wisconsin has one of the more dominant defenses in the nation this year. And that unit may have just gotten scarier, as the Badgers announced Thursday that Vince Biegel will return from a foot injury and play against Iowa this week.

Biegel, a senior outside linebacker, missed Wisconsin’s last two games while recovering from foot surgery. He had nine tackles and two tackles for loss in the team’s first four games.
Biegel was ranked as the best returning linebacker in the nation before the season, according to Pro Football Focus. His presence will undoubtedly be felt when Wisconsin matches up against the Hawkeyes Saturday.
OLB Vince Biegel will play in a game 23 days after having a screw inserted in his foot.
