Wisconsin’s defense has been spectacular without one of its biggest pieces. But that piece could return on Saturday at Iowa.
Linebacker Vince Biegel is listed as questionable, according to the team’s depth chart. He didn’t appear on the depth chart last week but was working without pads on the field before the game against Ohio State. Biegel injured his foot and had surgery before the Michigan game three weeks ago, which put his timeline for a return at 2-4 weeks.
Coach Paul Chryst characterized Biegel as someone who really cares about the team and wants to play, but said how he progresses this week will be key.
PC on Biegel: He's been taking some steps forward. We'll see how the week goes as to his availability vs Iowa

I'm proud of the team tonight. They played their hearts out tonight. Just wish I could have been out there with them!
