Wisconsin’s 2018 recruiting class already had one quarterback entering Friday. Now it has two.
The Badgers landed a commitment from dual-threat quarterback Chase Wolf, a 3-star recruit from Cincinnati who also had offers from South Carolina, Boston College, Cincinnati and more.

Wolf is the ninth member of Wisconsin’s 2018 class, and he joins fellow 3-star Ben Bryant of La Grange, Ill., at the quarterback position.
As a junior last season, Wolf passed for 1,291 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushed for another 133 yards and 3 touchdowns as a back-up quarterback at St. Xavier High School.
Wolf told Adam Baum of the Cincinnati Inquirer that he had narrowed his college choice to Boston College and South Carolina but was blow away after visiting Wisconsin last month.
“I’m gonna be honest, before the Wisconsin (visit) it was between South Carolina and Boston College,” Wolf said. “I kind of put Wisconsin on the backburner but after the visit, I was blown away and I knew right away.”
