Former Wisconsin RB James White has had a busy few weeks since scoring the first overtime touchdown in Super Bowl history to cap a record-breaking championship performance with the New England Patriots.
Among his highlights since winning Super Bowl LI on Feb. 5: He misplaced the game-winning ball from his incredible performance, celebrated at Disney World (of course), and received a “Super Bowl MVP” truck from Conan O’Brien.
And on Sunday, he was back in Madison where the Badger men’s basketball team was hosting Maryland. The Badgers won 71-60 to stay in first place in the Big Ten standings.

White was honored during the game with a montage on the scoreboard showing his game-winning touchdown from the Super Bowl and him celebrating at the Magic Kingdom.
He then took to the Kohl Center floor to cheers from the crowd and signed a football handed to him from Bucky Badger before launching it into the stands for a lucky fan.
In the Super Bowl, White had just 6 carries for 29 yards, but scored 2 touchdowns on the ground and hauled in a Super Bowl-record 14 receptions for 110 yards and another score.
