Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has donated $10,000 to a family who was involved in a deadly car crash near Madison, Wis., per ESPN’s Sarah Barshop.
Jenni Steiner and Kirk U’Ren were involved in a horrific accident on Highway 30 in Wisconsin last Sunday. U’ren died at the scene, and Steiner was in critical condition. The two have 1-year-old twin sons.
Watt left this comment with his donation to the family.
“This is terrible news to hear. Kirk was a big help to our foundation in the early years and was always so energetic and upbeat. My thoughts are with Jenni and the whole family, and if there is any way that I can help, please let me know.”
This isn’t the first time the Texans defensive star donated $10,000 to a family. In November, Watt gave $10,000 to a high school football player who was in a coma after being injured in a game.
