Wisconsin G George Panos no longer with team after shoulder injuries
Wisconsin G George Panos has left the team after a right shoulder injury forced him to miss all of fall camp, according to Madison.com’s Jason Galloway.
A left shoulder injury forced the redshirt sophomore to miss some practices in the spring. He was taken off Wisconsin’s roster on Aug. 22, according to Madison.com.
Panos, a 4-star recruit in the class of 2014, played just two games last year. His father, Joe, started 32 games as a lineman for Wisconsin from 1991-93. He was a second-team All-American as a senior and a team captain.
Wisconsin lost veteran offensive lineman Dan Voltz during fall camp due to a series of injuries. He remained with the team in a coaching role.
