Wisconsin to play at Wrigley Field
As reported last week by the Chicago Tribune, Northwestern on Tuesday confirmed that the Wildcats will face Wisconsin at Wrigley Field in 2020. It will be just the second college football game at the stadium since 1938.

Former Badgers’ star J.J. Watt has done a lot for his community in Houston. On Tuesday, one of Watt’s followers on Twitter shared a picture of a billboard on a local highway thanking the defensive end for all his efforts. As you’d expect, Watt was touched by the gesture.
Joe Thomas on the diamond
Following an 11-year career with the Cleveland Browns, Joe Thomas retired this offseason. He’s stayed in the public eye, though, with his popular podcast and various appearances. On Tuesday, the former Wisconsin All-American took the mound at Progressive Field in Cleveland to throw out the first pitch before the Indians’ game with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Earlier in the day, Thomas chatted with reporters about his post-retirement life and his excitement about getting to follow Wisconsin football closely for the first time since he was in school.
Best backfields in the country
Bleacher Report put together its list of the best backfields in the country. While Wisconsin wasn’t among the top schools listed, the Badgers did earn honorable mention.
The 2014-15 basketball season was a special one for Wisconsin and one of the highlights, at least for the start of the year, was this tip-dunk by guard Zak Showalter that the Badgers’ Twitter account shared on Tuesday.
