Barry Alvarez changed the culture and established a winning tradition at Wisconsin when he arrived in 1990. But even with all the success the program has had the last three decades, the head coaching job is not considered among the best 15 in the nation, according to 247Sports.

Running back Jonathan Taylor proved he was one of the best in the country last season as a freshman, while wide receiver Quintez Cephus was having a breakout sophomore campaign before an injury sidelined him in early November. With both back and healthy heading into this fall, 247Sports.com believes they are among the most dangerous duos in the country.

When T.J. Edwards decided to return for his senior year, it was a big boost for the Badgers defense. The Illinois native, according to Pro Football Focus, was the best linebacker in pass coverage last season among players eligible for the 2019 draft.
