Montee Ball gets back on track

With his football career behind him, and his probation having expired, former Badgers running back Montee Ball is getting his life back on track. The Wisconsin State Journal’s Jason Galloway has Ball’s story.

The rest of Wisconsin’s freshmen are on campus and the team’s Instagram account went about introducing them to fans in a series of quick videos.

Legends of Wisconsin Golf Classic

Wisconsin and the National W Club held the annual Legends of Wisconsin Golf Classic on Tuesday. Among those in attendance included former Rose Bowl winning quarterbacks Darrell Bevell and Brooks Bollinger.

Top target sets commitment date

The Badgers are in a fight for 3-star linebacker Spencer Lytle, and that battle is going to go on for about another month. The California product tweeted Tuesday he’ll announce his college choice Aug. 4.

Jared Abbrederis focused on post-football life

After four seasons in the NFL, former Badgers’ wide receiver Jared Abbrederis retired this offseason. When reporters caught up with him on Tuesday, Abbrederis said he’s slowly settling into his post-football life.

Toughest games on the schedule

After being criticized for a weak schedule in 2017, the Badgers will face a much stiffer slate in 2018. Athlon has ranked their 12 games from easiest to toughest.

Lee Evans giving back

Former Wisconsin wide receiver Lee Evans was back in Madison on Tuesday for the start of a three-day football camp. WKOW-TV was able to grab a few minutes with the Badgers’ all-time leader in receiving yards.
