Both Hornibrook and Bart Houston saw action in Saturday’s 23-17 overtime win against Nebraska. Hornibrook was 10-for-16 for 71 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. Houston, a senior, was 4-for-7 for 43 yards and an interception.
Here are the two quarterbacks’ season stats:
- Hornibrook: 75-for-131 for 948 yards, 6 TDs, 7 INTs
- Houston: 52-for-84 for 629 yards, 3 TD, 3 INTs.
Wisconsin plays at Northwestern at noon ET on Saturday. The game is on ABC.
Wisconsin RB Corey Clement said while he hopes the Badgers “solidify” the starting quarterback role, he said the quarterback changes don’t bother the team as long as they don’t become distractions.
Hornibrook may still be getting the start, but Chryst hasn’t been afraid to make a change during games.
