Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst joking about seeing a Lambeau Leap: ‘I would love to see a touchdown’
Lambeau Field is as historic as it gets in pro football. That includes the famous Lambeau Leap.
Will a Wisconsin player try it during the season opener this Saturday against No. 5 LSU?
“I would love to see a touchdown,” Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst joked at Monday’s press conference. “I believe it is a penalty.”
Coach Chryst asked, "If a Badger scores, will we see a Lambeau Leap?"
"I would love to see a touchdown (grins). I believe it is a penalty."

As a 10-point underdog, Wisconsin wouldn’t mind seeing a few TDs against the Tigers. Though don’t expect a Lambeau Leap after them.
On the injury front, Chryst confirmed both LB T.J. Edwards (left foot) and OL Logan Schmidt (head) will miss the LSU game. Edwards led the Badgers with 84 tackles in 2015. He also had 6.5 tackles for loss and 4 passes broken up, but he wasn’t on the depth chart for this week’s game.
Backup OL Logan Schmidt is OUT, as well. #Badgers had a few depth issues on the line at the end of camp.
