After LSU’s Josh Boutte crushed Wisconsin’s D’Cota Dixon with a late hit following Dixon’s interception, emotions could have run high and things could have gotten physical.
They didn’t. That’s exactly why Badgers coach Paul Chryst is proud with how his team handled the situation.
Though Chryst was asked about Boutte’s one-game suspension, he didn’t comment on that situation. He instead focused on how his team kept its cool in the immediate aftermath of the hit.
Chryst said he was really proud of how #Badgers reacted to late hit on D'Cota Dixon. "That was big time."

#Badgers Chryst not talking about suspension of LSU lineman. Only says he liked how his players responded. (No fight)

Dixon’s interception of LSU QB Brandon Harris secured Wisconsin’s 16-14 upset of No. 5 LSU at Lambeau Field. On Monday, Boutte was suspended for one game because of the hit. Boutte has also called Dixon to apologize.
