Wisconsin basketball will host Yale this fall, according to Jon Rothstein of Fanrag Sports.
Yale went 18-11 in the 2016-17 season and made the NCAA Tournament 2 years ago, where it upset No. 5 Baylor and gave No. 4 Duke a scare. The Bulldogs have won at least 14 games in each of the last 7 seasons.
Wisconsin will host Yale as part of its 2017-18 non-conference schedule, per a source.

Wisconsin’s 2017-18 nonconference schedule is still coming together, but we know the Badgers will play in the CBE Hall Of Fame Classic in Kansas City with UCLA, Creighton and Baylor on Nov. 20-21. They’ll play Marquette in December, too, as always.
Wisconsin returns just 1 starter from its 2016-17 team that reached the Sweet 16 — PF Ethan Happ. It will rely heavily on him, freshman D’Mitrik Trice and sophomore Khalil Iverson to fill the voids left by Nigel Hayes, Bronson Koenig, Vitto Brown and Zak Showalter.
Happ, Trice and Iverson were the only Badgers underclassmen to play an average of more than 10 minutes per game last season.
