Wisconsin basketball’s D’Mitrik Trice has returned to practice.
Trice had right foot surgery and hasn’t played since December 6 against Temple. Trice’s return on Wednesday is his first step toward returning to the court, though he’s not cleared for the Friday game against Illinois.

The sophomore Trice is averaging 9.4 points, 2.3 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game while playing 31.5 minutes per game.
Wisconsin is 9-10 overall and 2-4 in the Big Ten going into the Badgers’ Friday game at home against Illinois. The game is set for an 8 p.m. CT start and will be on FOX Sports 1.
During his freshman season, Trice averaged 5.6 points per game with 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
