Brad Davison had an eventful 2017-18 campaign, becoming the first Wisconsin player over the last 20 years to average double figures as a freshman. The Athletic’s Brian Hamilton asked Davison about some of his best memories from the season, and the guard relayed a funny story from a game at Michigan State:
One of Brad Davison's top memories from his freshman season? Getting heckled mercilessly by Michigan State fans.

Davison described taking a charge on Cassius Winston. He got the call, and all of the students in the lower bowl chanted ‘Flopper, flopper, flopper.’ Davison tried to hold in his laughter, but eventually succumbed to the moment.
It was a humorous moment in a season during which Davison achieved great success. He earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors twice and later was named to the 2018 All-Big Ten Freshman Team.
Davison finished the season as Wisconsin’s second-leading scorer (12.1 ppg), playing in all 33 games and earning 29 starts. He also averaged 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game. Wisconsin’s season ended with a 63-60 loss to Michigan State in the league tournament quarterfinals March 2. Davison scored 10 points on 4-for-14 shooting in the defeat.
