Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook won Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors after throwing 4 touchdowns in the Badgers’ win over BYU on Saturday.
Hornibrook set Wisconsin’s single-game completion percentage record, going 18-for-19 (94.7 percent). He ended up with threw for 256 yards and four touchdowns in the contest. His completion percentage of 94.7 percent was the best in Big Ten history by any quarterback attempting at least 13 passes and the fifth-best regardless of attempts.
Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor won the Big Ten Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week awards for Week 2.
