Wisconsin hockey player Cameron Hughes produced an early candidate for goal of the year Sunday when he corralled the puck between his legs and slapped in a score against No. 6 Boston College.
During the second period, Hughes, a junior forward, took a nice back-hand pass from teammate Grant Besse, and displayed some impressive stick skills to cut the score to 6-3 Eagles.
Hughes later scored again to make the score 6-5, but Boston College notched two empty-net goals to seal an 8-5 victory and avenge a 3-1 loss to Wisconsin on Friday in the Badgers home opener.
Still, Hughes had one of the most impressive goals you’ll see in college hockey.

Hughes was drafted by the Boston Bruins with the 165th pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.
