Wisconsin forward Ethan Happ can do it all. Well, almost.
The Big Ten player of the year candidate is having an unreal season, but he rarely ventures outside the paint. Trips to the free-throw line can be a bit of a nuisance, too.
All of which made this moment from the opening minutes of the Badgers’ game against Northwestern on Sunday great. Listen to the Kohl Center crowd react as Happ unleashed a rare 18-footer.

Yes, you read that correctly: Ethan Happ with the jumper. https://t.co/JdWy0tnfap

How rare was Happ’s jump shot*? Check out this incredible stat from Wisconsin State Journal beat reporter Jim Polzin: the shot was only Happ’s second of 312 career field goals that came from outside the paint.
If you'r scoring at home, that's now two out of 312 field goals in Happ's career that have come outside the paint.

*His feet didn’t leave the ground, but we’ll give it to him. Especially if it’s a sign of things to come from the free-throw line, where Happ is shooting barely over 50 percent for the season.
