Wisconsin won its third straight game Saturday, defeating Northwestern 21-7 at Ryan Field in Evanston. The Badgers’ defense shut down the Wildcats, and Corey Clement had 106 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Wisconsin took a 10-0 lead, and, after Northwestern scored a touchdown in the second quarter, outscored the Wildcats 11-0 in the second half.

The Badgers are 7-2 on the season and 4-2 in the Big Ten. In the Big Ten West, they’re a half game back of Nebraska, which plays Ohio State on Saturday night. Wisconsin holds the tiebreaker over the Cornhuskers thanks to a 23-17 overtime victory last week.
