A former Wisconsin walk-on is making a serious push for an NFL roster spot.
Alex Erickson continued his brilliant NFL preseason with his third touchdown in as many weeks for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night. His score on Sunday came on a 21-yard touchdown from A.J. McCarron.

Erickson, a 6-foot wideout, is looking to overcome the odds again in his football career and make the Bengals roster. Erickson went from walk-on to All-Big Ten at Wisconsin.
Erickson was the Badgers leading receiver in both the 2014 and 2015 campaigns, combining for 1,750 receiving yards and six touchdowns in those two years. He was a first-team All-Big Ten selection by the media following his senior year.
The 23-year-old also is proving he can be an asset in the return game, as he was with the Badgers. Erickson scored on a punt return against the Vikings earlier this month. Check out that video here.
