Vince Biegel is going to have to wait a few weeks before getting his first taste of an NFL training camp.
The former Wisconsin linebacker is dealing with a foot injury, and the Green Bay Packers placed Biegel on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on Thursday. Coach Mike McCarthy told reporters that Biegel is “still a couple weeks out.”

Biegel, a Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc. native, had a childhood dream come true when he was picked by the Packers in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Biegel had an impressive career with the Badgers, which included 44 tackles and four sacks in 2016.
He’ll have to wait to prove he’s deserving of snaps in Green Bay. He broke a bone in his foot during spring camp in May, which is not yet fully healed.
