Ahead of their showdown Saturday in Ann Arbor, the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers learned they’d be without starting linebacker Vince Biegel.
According to a report from ESPN.com’s Jesse Temple, Biegel will be out 2-4 weeks after undergoing surgery Thursday.

It’s a crushing blow for the Badgers ahead of Saturday’s game against No. 4 Michigan.
Biegel, a senior leader, has nine tackles (two tackles for loss) and a sack in four games this year.
The third-team All-Big Ten selection in 2015 entered the 2016 season on the watch lists for the Bednarik, Butkus and Nagurski awards. Pro Football Focus ranked Biegel as the nation’s No. 1 returning outside linebacker for 2016.
