Wisconsin cornerback Natrell Jamerson suffered a left leg injury during Wisconsin’s 54-10 win against Akron on Saturday, with the Badgers bringing out a wheelchair to help the junior.
TV cameras showed a UW official mouthing “left fibula” as Jamerson was brought to the team’s sideline. Jamerson, who did not put any weight on his leg as he was helped off the field, was taken by cart to a tunnel and then placed in a wheelchair.
Jamerson’s four total tackles tied him for the lead on Saturday. He also posted two tackles in the win against LSU.
Jamerson leads the team with 60 yards on three kick returns, but now the Badgers may be without the junior for a while.
