Former standout Wisconsin OL Rick Wagner is reportedly changing NFL teams — and reportedly getting some major cash.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that Wagner and the Detroit Lions have agreed to a contract that will top $9 million annually. The Baltimore Ravens originally drafted Wagner in the fifth round in 2013 and he has been with the Ravens since.
But now it seems Wagner is on the move, at least once free agency officially begins at 4 p.m. ET on Thursday, when free agents can begin signing contracts.

After starting just twice in his rookie season, Wagner has started all but three games at right tackle for the Ravens in the last three seasons. While in college, he made his first start at right tackle during the 2010 season then took the job over full-time in the 2011 and 2012 seasons. The Badgers played in three consecutive Rose Bowl games — against TCU, Oregon and Stanford — in those three seasons.
