Former Wisconsin offensive line coach Bob Bostad is returning to the Badgers staff, this time coaching inside linebackers, according to FootballScoop.com.
During his first stint at Wisconsin, from 2006-2011, Bostad presided over a glory age of Badger offensive linemen, coaching stars such as Kevin Zeitler, Gabe Carimi and Ricky Wagner. During that time he worked under then-offensive coordinator Paul Chryst, who now is Wisconsin’s head coach.
Bostad was hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012, then by the Tennessee Titans in 2014. He spent last season coaching tight ends at Northern Illinois.
The 50-year-old played linebacker in college, according to Football Scoop, but has only coached on offense.
Offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph serves as the Badgers offensive line coach.
