Senior Wisconsin forward Nigel Hayes had a pretty good day.
His No. 8 Badgers took down No. 1 overall seed and defending champion Villanova in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday afternoon, and Hayes himself put them over the top, scoring the game-winning basket with 14 seconds left.
It was a move that was eerily similar to a move made by the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan. And it makes sense — Hayes said after the game it was a Jordan highlight which inspired his move.
And if that wasn’t enough, NBA TV paid him respect — and referenced MJ — with a tweet.
Check it out the Hayes’ move, and it stacks up to His Airness:

Hey, Jordan’s moves clearly helped him get the job done over and over again in the NBA. On Saturday, one of them made all the difference for the Badgers and Hayes.
