Ball received 18 months probation and 60 days in jail as part of that.
Ball was arrested in February of 2016 on a felony battery charge after an incident with his girlfriend at a Madison, Wisc., hotel. She told police Ball threw her onto a table.
He was arrested again in April for jumping bail after drinking at a local bar — as part of his bail, he was not allowed to consume alcohol.
Ball starred as a running back for Wisconsin and earned first-team All-American honors in 2011 and 2012. When he graduated, Ball held the FBS record for touchdowns with 83. He played two seasons with the Broncos but disappointed, and after getting signed to the Patriots’ practice squad this past year, got cut in February following his arrest.
