Marcus Graham is Wisconsin football’s newest verbally committed recruit. He announced his intentions on Friday afternoon.

Graham is rated as a 3-star recruit on the 247Sports composite database, which combines ratings from the major recruiting services and spits out one aggregated rating. The composite rates Graham as the No. 34 athlete and the No. 52 North Carolina recruit in the class. The “athlete” designation means he’s a recruit who has some options in terms of which position he’ll play in college. Graham’s 6-foot, 175-pound frame suggests defensive back or wide receiver, but nothing’s been confirmed.
Graham is Wisconsin’s ninth verbal commit for the Class of 2019. The Badgers’ class ranks eighth in the country. That ranking will likely come down once some other schools start raking in prospects, but it’s still higher than Wisconsin usually ranks.
