Thousands of LSU fans are traveling north to Green Bay, Wis., for one of the most anticipated games of Week 1.
The Tigers are facing Wisconsin at legendary Lambeau Field.
With all the purple and gold expected to be in the crowd, there could be the potential for a “Lambeau Leap” by an LSU player after a touchdown.
Les Miles has halted that potential. And he was pretty clear on the SEC conference call Wednesday about his message for anyone on his roster trying to jump into the seats.
Les Miles: “I promise you, if somebody tries to Lambeau Leap, they’ll have their thumb out trying to get a ride home.”

NCAA celebration rules would not allow for a Leap, anyway.
Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst told reporters earlier in the week: “I’ve been so focused on making sure that ball can somehow cross that (goal) line for the Badgers, and try to find a way to keep it from crossing for the Tiger. Didn’t spend a lot of time trying to clarify that.”
There will be plenty of festivities in Green Bay before Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. EST kickoff. Jumping into the crowd doesn’t appear as if it will make the list.
Plus, if you’re on the LSU roster, Baton Rouge is an awfully far walk (or hitch) from Green Bay.
