Urbik became a starter as a redshirt freshman in 2005 for Wisconsin, and started 45 consecutive games until a knee injury suffered against Penn State put him out for a few games in 2008. The Steelers took Urbik with the No. 79 overall pick in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft, and he spent one mostly inactive season in Pittsburgh before the Bills claimed him off waivers. Urbik spent six seasons in Buffalo before heading to the Dolphins. He spent the 2016 season in Miami, but was released before the 2017 in an injury settlement with the team.
