Could a two-loss team make the College Football Playoff?
Kirk Herbstreit said he’d be OK with it, especially if that team is Wisconsin.
On College Gameday, Herbstreit said if the Badgers won out and then beat the winner of the Big Ten East (likely a highly ranked Ohio State or Michigan team) in the conference’s title game, they’d have a worthy argument to make the four-team playoff field.
Herbstreit was the only of the three analysts saying he’d be OK with a two-loss team in the playoff, as David Pollack and Michigan grad Desmond Howard disagreed.

Atta boy @KirkHerbstreit, been making that argument all week. Wisconsin runs the table and they have to be in the Playoff.

The Badgers only two losses this season have come to the No. 2 Buckeyes and No. 3 Wolverines, both by seven points. Wisconsin will likely decide its Big Ten West fate in the next three weeks with games at Iowa, against No. 8 Nebraska and at Northwestern.
