The night of Sept. 14, 2013 was a tough one for Wisconsin fans.
The Badgers lost in a controversial and unusual fashion against Arizona State. Then the wife of their former coach rubbed some salt in the wound on Twitter in the early morning hours of Sept. 15, 2013.
Jen Bielema tweeted “#karma” after Wisconsin lost that game. Bret Bielema was in his first season as Arkansas’ head coach. He left Madison after nine years with Wisconsin (seven years as the program’s head coach).
The tweet was deleted soon after it went up, but Wisconsin fans are well aware of it. The “karma” idea has not aged well.
As pointed out by college football writer Brett McMurphy, Wisconsin is 41-12 since the tweet. Arkansas and Bielema are 23-27.
