J.J. Watt is officially out for the season after undergoing back surgery, Houston Texans coach Bill O’Brien confirmed Friday.

Watt, the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and former All-American at Wisconsin, re-injured his back against the New England Patriots last week.
He underwent his second back surgery in three months on Thursday.

May we see Watt make an appearance at Camp Randall Stadium this fall, assuming his recovery goes well? His younger brother, T.J. Watt, has had a great start to the 2016 season for the No. 8-ranked Badgers.
