Former Wisconsin linebacker Jonathan Casillas has been named as one of three season-long captains for the New York Giants.
In an interview with Giants team writer Michael Eisen, Giants coach Ben McAdoo said Casillas will be the full-time defensive captain for the team in 2016. Quarterback Eli Manning and long snapper Zak DeOssie are the others, with three spots going to rotating captains each week.
The Badgers took to Twitter on Friday to congratulate Casillas.
