Former Wisconsin quarterback, safety and wide receiver Tanner McEvoy has found a home in the NFL as a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, and it safe to say they’ve found some ways to put him to good use.
In the second quarter of the Seahawks game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Russell Wilson, another former Badger, threw a lateral to McEvoy, who then showed off some arm strength himself.

McEvoy complete a 43-yard pass to fellow rookie and former Notre Dame RB C.J. Prosise, who ran down to the 2-yard line and set up a touchdown run on the following play to put Seattle up 14-3.
The Wisconsin connection is alive and well in Seattle between McEvoy and Wilson, who connected for McEvoy’s first NFL touchdown four weeks ago.
