Wisconsin’s athletic facilities are going to have some new users this week, as Florida Atlantic reportedly will stay in Madison indefinitely due to Hurricane Irma’s approach toward the Owls’ campus in Boca Raton, Fla.
Really appreciate @BadgerFootball for helping us in this time of need. God Bless The Badgers and their supporters!!!

Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez previously said Wisconsin was willing to do whatever was needed in the event Florida Atlantic was unable to go back to its campus.
“If the situation arises where FAU’s travel home is impacted, we are prepared to help in any way possible. We’ve discussed a number of contingencies, from paying for extra nights of hotel rooms to opening up our facilities for them to use for practice, sports medicine care, meals or anything else they may need.”
Several Florida programs, including Florida, Florida State and Miami, canceled games Saturday out of precaution for Hurricane Irma.
