Backfield injuries loom for Wisconsin heading into showdown with MSU
The injury news involving Badgers running backs was not great on Monday afternoon.
Three Wisconsin running backs, including starter Corey Clement, were listed on the team’s injury report. Clement missed the No. 11 Badgers narrow win over Georgia State with a left leg injury and he is questionable going into their Saturday showdown with No. 8 Michigan State.

This leave’s Dare Ogunbowale as the team’s healthiest option in the backfield. Ogunbowale rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries against Georgia State. Shaw and Deal had 62 and 34 yards, respectively, with Clement sidelined.
In his first two weeks, Clement amassed 197 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
