Safety Trent Ingalls has committed to Wisconsin, Benjamin Worgull of Scout.com reported Saturday afternoon.
The class of 2018 prospect isn’t rated in the 247Sports composite, but Scout lists him as a 3-star recruit.

Ingalls has only been offered a scholarship by Wisconsin, according to 247Sports, but Scout reports he was drawing interest from Central Michigan, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern and Purdue.
But the Menasha, Wisc., native visited Madison two weeks ago for the Badgers’ game against Ohio State and his heart has always been with his hometown program.
“I didn’t want to rush anything but in the back of my mind UW has always been a big deal to me,” Ingalls told Scout.com. “Waiting helped me really experience being a badger recruit, the more time I waited the more I saw and the more I saw the more excited and amazed I got by UW.”
Wisconsin has one other commit in the class of 2018 — 3-star S Reggie Pearson Jr. Its 2017 class ranks 51st nationally and 10th in the Big Ten with 11 pledges.
