Rutgers is increasing the security presence at High Point Solutions Stadium for its Saturday game against Iowa.
Due to the new stadium policies, no bottles or other beverage containers will be allowed inside the stadium for the Scarlet Knights’ Big Ten opener against the Hawkeyes at noon.

The school also said that along with Homeland Security, its bag policy will be strictly enforced. Rutgers’ full stadium policies for the game can be found here.
There were bombings last week in Manhattan and Seaside Park, N.J., both of which are less than 60 miles from Rutgers’ campus.
This will also be the first home game since the Scarlet Knights stopped their student tailgate, but their athletic director, Pat Hobbs, is still urging students to attend the game.
