Rutgers tight end Charles Scarff transferring from program
Rutgers’ leading tight end from the 2015 season is leaving the program.
Junior tight end Charles Scarff is transferring, according to a report from NJ.com’s Ryan Dunleavy. He led all Rutgers tight ends with 14 catches for 100 yards and one touchdown last season. He was a member of Rutgers’ three-man platoon at the position, along with redshirt junior Matt Flanagan and senior Nick Arcidiacono.
The 6-foot-4, 248-pound tight end originally was a walk-on at Rutgers. He is the second tight end to leave the program this offseason, joining Anthony Folkerts, who transferred during the spring.
