With the college football season about five months away, teams are currently going through spring practice to prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Of course, Rutgers football is no stranger to this, as the Scarlet Knights are going through practice with the intent of improving upon their 4-8 record from last season. The intensity of the team’s spring practices was caught on video, as the Rutgers football Twitter account released a video on Tuesday in which starting offensive lineman Tariq Cole was mic’d up during a recent practice.
While there are plenty of lighthearted and comical moments throughout, things get chippy at several points of the video.
Here is the video:

This upcoming season will mark Cole’s senior season, as he has been one of the top offensive lineman in the Big Ten over the last couple seasons.
Rutgers will play its Spring Game on April 14 at High Point Solutions Stadium, and will kick off its season on Sept. 1 at home against Texas State.
