Rutgers and Boston College are scheduling more games against each other.
The two football teams announced another two-game series on Tuesday, meaning the schools will meet four times between 2019 and 2027. Tuesday’s 2019 and 2022 games are part of a series that had already included 2026 and 2027 meetings.

The two schools had been conference rivals in the Big East Conference. But the Scarlet Knights are now in the Big Ten and Boston College is in the ACC. The Eagles lead the all-time series 19-6-1, but they haven’t played the Scarlet Knights since 2004.
In 2016, the Scarlet Knights struggled to a 2-10 (0-9 Big Ten) season under first-year coach Chris Ash. Boston College went 7-6 and beat Maryland 36-30 in the Quick Lane Bowl.
The Scarlet Knights are scheduled to begin the 2017 season on Sept. 1 at home against Washington. The Huskies beat Rutgers 48-13 in Seattle and eventually reached the College Football Playoff.
After playing Washington, the Scarlet Knights remain at home for games against Eastern Michigan and Morgan State. The Big Ten schedule then starts at Nebraska on Sept. 23.
