A decision is nearing for 3-star wide receiver Eddie Lewis, and the Middletown, N.J. native revealed the final three schools in the running for his services. Two of those schools hailed from the Big Ten.
Local Rutgers and Indiana joined Syracuse in Lewis’ top three, which he revealed on Twitter Saturday afternoon.

Lewis is rated as the No. 95 receiver nationally in the Class of 2017 and the No. 15 player in the state of New Jersey. He has received 10 reported scholarship offers, including offers from Iowa, Boston College, Duke and North Carolina.
Rutgers coach Chris Ash has done a tremendous job of locking up homegrown talent since taking the job. His first recruiting class currently ranks 16th in the country and third in the Big Ten, which seemed unfathomable at this time a year ago. Ash has landed 19 commitments, with 16 of them coming from recruits located in either New York or New Jersey.
The Scarlet Knights appear to be the favorites to land the 5-foot-11, 171-pound prospect. But the race isn’t over just yet.
